WGLD Family Camp

Greetings!

WGLD Family Camp is fast approaching (Aug 17-22). Are you wondering why YOU should consider going? Here is our list of 7 great reasons to attend this year!

1. Because you need to get away from it all. Family Camp is a perfect opportunity to unplug and enjoy the beauty of northeast Wisconsin! Lake Lundgren Bible Camp (LLBC) is peaceful and a great place to rest and focus on your family.

2. Because your kids will love it. There are so many things for your kids to do: Octoball, "Nine Square in the Air," Rifle Range, Slingshot Range, Carpet Ball, Ping Pong and so much more! There will be plenty of other kids there (of all ages) for your kids to play with all day!

3. Because Lake Lundgren is perfect for swimming, boating, and fishing. The camp features an amazing beach with canoes, kayaks, and paddle boats, all ready to use! The lake spans 30 acres, reaches a depth of 62 feet, and is full of largemouth bass!

4. Because we have two fabulous speakers lined up.
Jack and Diana Stimmel are thrilled to return and share more of their stories from around the world! They have a fun and creative theme this year, "Living Life in 3-D," which focuses on going deeper in your faith and with others.

5. Because the price is right. Your entire family can stay in a campsite for the week for only $80. Or you can get a private cabin with a bathroom for only $400!

6. Because the food is amazing and you don't even need to cook it. The word on the street is that the food at LLBC is excellent, and a lot of it is made from scratch!

7. Because Family Camp is a great place to encounter Jesus. There is something special about Family Camp. When you and your family get away from the distractions of life, you often find yourself more in tune with what God wants to say to you. Many people come away from Family Camp with a sense of spiritual renewal.

Bible Verses for August 17, 2014 Message

Below you will find the bible verses used by John as he talks about The Spirit of Life.
(Message from August 17, 2014)

SPIRIT OF LIFE

(John 16:12-15 NASBStr)
12 "I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. 13 But when He, the
Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own
initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He wil
l disclose to you what is to come. 14
He will glorify Me, for He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you
. 15 All things that the Father
has are Mine; therefore I said that He takes of Mine and will disclose it to you

(John 1 :1-5 NASBStr)
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was
in the beginning with God. 3 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him
nothing came into being that has come into being. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the Light
of men. 5 The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did no
t comprehend it

(John 6:35 ESV)
35 Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and
whoever believes in me shall never thirst

(John 10:10 NASBStr)
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it
abundantly.

(John 4:14 NASBStr)
14 but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will
give him wiil become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.

(Matthew 7:13-14 NASBStr)
13" Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to
destruction, and there are many who enter through it
. 14 For the gate is small and the way is
narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it

(Romans 8:1-2 NASBStr)
Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. 2 For the law of the
Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.

(John 11 :25-26 ESV)
25 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die,
yet shall he live, 26 and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe
this

(John 5:25-26 ESV)
25 "Truly, truly, I say to you, an hour is coming, and is now here, when the dead will hear the
voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live. 26 For as the Father has life in himself,
so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself

(John 14:6 ESV)
"I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me

(John 8:12 ESV)
"I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light
of life

(Acts 11 :18 NASBStr)
When they heard this, they quieted down and glorified God, saying, "Well then, God has
granted to the Gentiles also the repentance that leads to life.

(Ephesians 4:17-24 ESV)
17 Now this I say and testify in the Lord, that you must no longer walk as the Gentiles do, in the
futility of their minds. 18 They are darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of
God because of the ignorance that is in them, due to their hardness of heart. 19 They have
become callous and have given themselves up to sensuality, greedy to practice every kind of
impurity. 20 But that is not the way you learned Christ! - 21 assuming that you have heard
about him and were taught in him, as the truth is in Jesus, 22 to put off your old self, which
belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, 23 and to be
renewed in the spirit of your minds, 24 and to put on the new se
lf, created after the likeness of
God in true righteousness and holiness

(Colossians 3 :2-4 NASBStr)
Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. 3 For you have died and
your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our life, is revealed
, then you also
will be revealed with Him
in glory.

(2 Corinthians 4:7-10 NASBStr)
But we have this treasure in earthen vesseis, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will
be of God and not from ourselves; 8 we are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed,
but not despairing; 9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; 10 always
carrying about in the body the dy
ing of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested
in our body
